Introduction
Chinese-made lawn mowers have gained popularity for their quality and affordability. To make the most of your lawn mower, here are some essential operating tips.
Pre – operation Checks
Before starting your lawn mower, check the oil level. Just like a car, an appropriate oil level ensures smooth operation. Also, examine the spark plug. A clean and well – functioning spark plug is crucial for ignition. Inspect the cutting blades. Dull blades can tear the grass instead of cutting it cleanly, so sharpen or replace them regularly.
During Operation
When mowing, don’t cut the grass too short. A good rule of thumb is to never remove more than one – third of the grass blade at a time. This helps the grass stay healthy and resistant to diseases. Move the lawn mower at a steady pace. Pushing it too fast may lead to uneven cutting, while moving too slowly can waste time and energy.
Post – operation Maintenance
After you finish mowing, clean the lawn mower. Remove any grass clippings from the deck and the blades. This prevents rust and keeps the mower in good condition. Store the mower in a dry place. Moisture can damage the engine and other components. If you won’t be using the mower for an extended period, drain the fuel to prevent it from going stale.
